Leila Costa, LMFT
Leila is a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is originally from Brazil from a Portuguese family. She lived in 3 different continents giving her a vast multi-cultural experience. She acquired a diversity of theoretical approaches required for solid counseling skills for couples, families and individual's therapy. She worked with a wide range of clients over the past 20 years, including Cancer patients and their families, grief and worked many years in Eating Disorder and Alcohol and Drugs Treatment Centers.
Besides talking psychotherapy Leila is trained in body/mind based EMDR and BRAINSPOTTING trauma therapy and can support you as you embark on the exciting endeavor to get the most out of your life, make important changes and move toward reaching your potential. This journey can have a profound effect on your relationships, your work and – importantly – your inner self. Leila received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkley.
